Liaqat Ali Khan, a prominent leader in Pakistan's history, served as the country's first Prime Minister. He was born on October 1, 1895, in Karnal, British India (now in Haryana, India). Liaquat Ali Khan received his education in England, where he studied law at Oxford University and became a barrister.

Upon his return to India, Khan joined the All India Muslim League and actively participated in the Pakistan Movement, advocating for the creation of a separate homeland for Muslims in British India. He emerged as a close associate of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan, and played a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape during the independence struggle.

After the partition of India in 1947 and the subsequent creation of Pakistan, Liaquat Ali Khan became an integral part of the new country's political leadership. He served as the country's first Finance Minister and played a crucial role in stabilizing Pakistan's economy during its formative years.

In 1951, Liaquat Ali Khan assumed the position of Prime Minister of Pakistan. However, Liaquat Ali Khan's leadership was tragically cut short. On October 16, 1951, he was assassinated during a public meeting in Rawalpindi. His assassination sent shockwaves throughout the nation and left a significant void in Pakistan's political landscape.
