Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently seen in the film Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar, played fashion police and critiqued Bigg Boss OTT fame Uorfi Javed’s wardrobe choices. Uorfi is often photographed in her experimental outfits that usually draw polarising reactions on social media.

In a conversation with Kareena Kapoor for Mirchi Plus, Ranbir was shown placards by Kareena that had images of actors dressed in various looks. The twist, though, was that the actors’ faces were not displayed. Surprisingly, Ranbir correctly identified the actors based on their attire and gave it a “good taste” or “bad taste” rating.

Kareena showed a placard of Uorfi and said, “I think you know who this person is.” Ranbir replied saying, “Is it Uorfi?” He continued, “I am not a big fan of this kind of fashion. But I believe that we are living in a world today where if you are comfortable in your skin…” Kareena interrupted him and asked, “Good taste or bad taste, Ranbir.” The actor replied, “Bad taste.”

Next, Kareena showed him a placard of Priyanka Chopra in a gown. Ranbir said, “PeeCee is awesome. So, definitely good taste. I think she has a lot of carriage and she pulls it off. Because she has this self confidence. And if you have self confidence, you can pull off anything.”

Uorfi, who often makes headlines for her unique outfits, has caught the attention of few Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Masaba Gupta and Kangana Ranaut. On Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar asked Ranveer, “Whose nightmare it would be to repeat an outfit too quickly?”, to which Ranveer replied, “Uorfi Javed.” Karan then said, “Because she is in new cuts” and Ranveer concluded, “Yeah she is a fashion icon.”
